Welcome to Chestatee
Seventh-day Adventist Church
In 2004, the Dawsonville Company was recognized as a Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Georgia Cumberland Conference. Since then, it has grown to over 100 members originating from all over the world. The name "Chestatee Seventh-day Adventist Church" was not only chosen because of the local area, but also because Chestatee means "Place of Lights" in the Cherokee language. The original group felt that reflected what the church was to be, a place of lights, reflecting the light of God's Word and His love in this community. Learn More
