Church Opening

Hello church family and friends,

Our church board voted on June 7, to open church for Sabbath school and church services this coming Sabbath June 13.

The following guidelines will be observed by all the congregation and members and visitors:

Masks are highly recommended while you are in the church building.

There will be a limitation of how many folks can be in the bathroom facilities at one time, a maximum of three.  Please also remember to observe the handwashing for at least 20 seconds. There will be some posters throughout the building reminding everybody of the precautions they need to take.

Families that cohabitate, can sit together. We will sit in every other pew, sit in the pew without a ribbon on it.  Maintain a 6 foot distance from other families that aren’t part of your cohabitation family.

We will have overflow into the fellowship hall, and chairs there to accommodate the distancing requirements. The livestream will be run in the fellowship hall.

After the service is complete, the deacons will dismiss starting with the back rows and moving to the front. Please do not loiter in the sanctuary or in the church, rather go outside and then have your conversations there.

We are all hoping and praying for normalcy to return, but as we see Covid is still increasing in some areas around us, the board felt it is in our interest and our visitors interest to continue taking precautions.

It will be wonderful to finally be together and worshiping. Please do your best to help us keep everybody safe. If anyone has a fever or any symptoms related to a flu, please stay home and watch via the stream or zoom.

Watch for a following email by the end of the week for any other updates.

God bless you all, see you Sabbath, and stay safe!

Warmly your brother,

Kevin Manestar

Head Elder
